Fantastic episode and loved your reactions again. It was exciting to see Luci embrace devilishness as humanity perceives it and yet...we know he has fought so hard against that image of himself for so long that to see him embrace it at first was to me, also incredibly heartbreaking. Thus, I was glad he pulled back and realised before he hoped it was too late- but is it too late? Such a powerful and dramatic ending that even though his wings were so demonic and somewhat scary, his obvious distress made the mother in me just want to put my arms around him and tell him it is all going to be okay and not to be scared (Talk about conflicting emotions) I recalled way back in an earlier episode where Amenadiel was worried that Eve would turn Luci back into that hedonistic 'devil' who caused chaos and didn't seem to care and he didn't want his brother to go back down that path when they had grown and learned so much living with humanity... Now we have that prophesy and you were so right to recognise that Father Kinley was to play a bigger role in season 4 when it looked like he had been arrested in 4 x03 (I think it was) and that was the end of his story... as you surmised- not yet! The rollercoaster to the finale has begun- enjoy the ride!
