So, basically, Thea's bloodlust, without an outlet, is killing her from the inside. Malcolm tries to get her to murder some people, Oliver sets a meeting with Darhk in hopes that they can make some sort of trade, but Thea says she doesn't want any of that. She'd rather just die. Eventually, she slips into a coma. But, just as that is happening, Nyssa shows up with some flower that will counteract the effects of the pit. And she'll give it to Oliver if he agrees to kill Malcolm. Dude. As much as I want this. Thea would not want that on her conscious. She doesn't even want Oliver owing Darhk a favor on her conscious. She's not gonna want this.
Also, Roy is back! Apparently, he's being blackmailed to steal stuff tech for someone. Felicity realizes on the video that he's got some tech in his eye, and she tells Oliver to tranq him. They bring him back to the cave and Felicity gets to work. Once he's awake, he goes with them to try to stop this tech from being used.
Felicity figures out that this is going to be used to take down the web. She hacks into the system, and ends up in a battle of hacking with this guys. He's good, but Felicity's better. He says he's almost sorry to win, because it's been a long time since someone matched him. However, Felicity manages to best him, and they save the internet (although, he claims he was going to use this to destroy the city- why does everyone hate this city so much?) by having them blow up the device.
Later, after Felicity gives a presentation at Palmer Tech (Curtis has managed to create some battery that will basically last forever), the guy she was in the hacking battle with is there. He ends up talking to Oliver, who doesn't know it's him. But as soon as Oliver leaves, he approaches Felicity and it turns out, it's her dad. Why the hell is her dad trying to destroy the city his daughter lives in? Also, what's the deal with her dad. I can't remember. I think her mom said Felicity was more like him and she always felt shut out, but I might not be remembering that correctly.
And Roy is gone again. He and Thea did manage a really lovely good-bye, and Felicity managed to somehow wipe from the computer, so he can't be used as blackmail again, which is good. But it was so much fun with Roy here. Let's get him back and ditch Laurel.
Also, I got unexpectedly emotional this episode.
