So, the stupid mobster guy is back. But, honestly, if we forget that he's the actual villain in this episode, it's a good story.
He tells Kris that his horse is running against Wildfire, so she needs to throw the race. If she doesn't, Pablo will be implicated in the missing guys death. He then tells Kris that Pablo was in jail because he killed someone. And if she doesn't wanna ruin his life by letting everyone know this, she'll just throw the race. Also, if she talks to Pablo about this, there will be an accident.
Immediately after this, Pablo is driving the truck ends up with a cut gas line that explodes and sets the car on fire.
Kris is super conflicted on what to do. It's a super important race for Wildfire and the farm, but if she wins, Pablo could be in trouble. She tries to call Kerry about it, but he's unavailable. Junior eventually mentions to her that he saw her talking to mob guy and he's bad news. He then suggests Kris talk to his dad about it. She does, and they strike a deal, he'll deal with mobster and Kris will jockey for Dani.
However, the day of the race, Ken informs her that he couldn't get mob guys to change his mind. But if it were him, he'd throw the race, as this is a bad, scary dude.
For the first half of the race, it seems like Kris is going to do that. She's holding Wildfire back and telling him it's not there day. However, about 2/3 of the way through, she changes her mind and kicks it into high gear deciding to win the race. And she does.
Right after, mob guy tells her that she's lucky he switched his bet to Wildfire. Ken told him Kris was crazy and he didn't think she would do it. However, had he made the wrong bet, I feel liek this could have gone so much worse.
We also find out, that Pete has multiple cases of insurance fraud against him, so Junior cannot get insurance on the club. When Matt finds out, he's kind of loses it. He wants to know what kind of man his father is. How could he be the same guy who helped him out of his gambling debt? Pete then confesses it wasn't him, it was Charlie. Matt is devastated, and ends up needed the comfort of all his friends.
You guys, I don't know what it is about this show, but it just gets me. I have no idea why I'm obsessed with this show, but I totally am.
