Shameless 8X2: Where's My Meth?

I felt mostly meh, about this episode. There's nothing wrong with it. But I think it's nearly impossible to continue the insanity from the first few seasons for so long. But, the extreme craziness is why I'm watching.

Frank's got a job. And he's doing so well that they are making him a supervisor. No thank you.

Fiona is attempting to collect rent checks at the apartment. It's not going all that well, and she evicted her first tenant. She gets Debbie to weld down the door. I thought welding was used to put things together, not take them apart. But in all honestly, I've never really given any thought to welding, so what the hell do I know?

Carl sells Ian's meth, who uses the money to get a tattoo of Monica, but it goes horribly awry. He ends up with a lady with giant, cartoonish breasts. The rest of the family is still confused about why he's still upset about Monica's death. But he was the one who was closest to her. Ian wants to go to the storage unit to see the rest of Monica's stuff. And when they get there, a dude who is living there, accusing them of stealing his meth and chases them, buy they manage to get away. I have no idea if it actually was his meth, or he just assumed it was his since Monica was dead and he was living there with her.

Also, Trevor tries to help Ian out, and takes him to a chub bar. Where they both pick up large men to have sex with, because large men are nice? Okay. After getting a blow job, Ian gets cradled by the dude, and he ends up crying, while the men is kind to him about it. While this is going on, Trevor is just having sex behind them. I would so not be up for that.

Lip tries to get Charlie back on drugs because he's jealous that Sierra is with him. So, he has a pizza delivered to the house with cocaine on it. Charlie then ends up at the same meeting with Lip, who hears who make Charlie is struggling not to use it. So, Lip leaves the meeting, breaks into his house, pours the coke in the sink, and gets mauled by his dog trying to get away. Charlie is grateful and believes that Lip did it to keep him from using.

Debbie is out all the time, completely ignoring both Neil and Franny. She's totally cheating on him, as she's running around with hickeys on her. This was supposed to be a mutually beneficial relationship between them, but she isn't holding up her end of the bargain at all. She's really just using him for a place to live at this point.

And Kevin is totally fine.
