I'm sorry, they took Maddie and Chim away from us for months, only for him to find her and they immediately break up?! I hate it here.
So, Maddie and Chim are back. Maddie seems to be doing much better. She seems happy. However, Maddie has nowhere to live. She was hoping to staying with Buck for a little while, but Taylor has moved in.
Speaking of Taylor, Buck finally told her the truth about Lucy. (Mostly- she thinks Lucy is a random girl at a bar, not his partner, and he doesn't correct her). She doesn't care that much about the kiss. She's made that he asked her to move in right after it happened, implied that he trapped her, because now she has nowhere to go. Buck admits, that maybe he did. He's so tired of people leaving. But I don't think he did it intentionally, or maliciously. If he even did it all. Regardless, they make up and it all seems fine with them.
And Eddie finally loses it. He's been in therapy but he hasn't really been opening up. It wasn't really helping him. His therapist suggested he find someone to talk to who actually knows what he's going through. So he called up some of this buddies from the army that he saved from the helicopter. Unfortunately, it turns out, all of them are dead now. In a fit of rage he destroys his bedroom.
Christopher hears this and tries to get to him, but he's locked the the door. All Christopher can hear is screaming and banging and things breaking. Freaked out, he calls Buck, who shows up and breaks the door to get inside. He finds Eddies sobbing on the floor. Once Buck settles Christopher in his room, he gets Eddie to finally open up.
I really hope this is a turning point for Eddie. He's been in a bad place for awhile now. Bobby's right. It's not just that he transferred out of the 118. It's not just that Christopher was scared. It's a lifetime of being exposed to trauma. I don't know what it is that going to help him, but I'm hoping this is the first step.
