One Tree Hill 7X6: Deep Ocean Vast Sea

I'm so torn right now. I desperately want to believe Nathan (and most of me does), but I just cannot fathom why this woman would doing all this when it's gonna come out when she has the baby that it's not Nathan's. And by that point, his reputation will already be ruined. Unless he did something to hurt her that he doesn't know about, and this is revenge, what is the point? Also, I don't know how I feel about Nathan's excuse for her number being on his phone bill. That actually sounds like a lie. But I don't want him to be lying!

Anyway, Haley decides to call Renee and ask what she gets if they pay her. And she says, she goes away. And Haley demands a retraction. She says fine, she'll lie about it if Haley her to. She asks for $250,00 which she figures is the cost of raising 'Nathan's' kid until it's 18. She gives Haley until 8pm to call her back and decide.

Haley tells Nathan she called and is gonna pay the money. Nathan doesn't want her to. He's still claiming innocence and want to pay her a dime. Haley says she's not looking for his permission. She's just tell him what's up. It turns out, she doesn't actually pay up though. However, when time runs out, we see Renee is talking to Rachel and agrees to go on the show and tell all.

Meanwhile, Millie accepts the job as Brooke's model, but is upset when she she's that Brooke has hired someone to replace her from her old job. She tells Brooke she can do both, but Brooke's not having it. Later, Millie tells Mouth she thinks she made a mistake. She accepted the job because it made her feel special, but she doesn't feel comfortable and she's not a size zero. (Which was kind of the point). She starts stealing Alex's diet pills.

Speaking of Alex, she and Julian are back working on the script together. And she is sort of back to her old ways. When she's working on the script alone, her hair is up, she wearing glasses and her pajamas. When she working with Julian she's in camisole and tiny shorts. She's also continuing to flirt with him. However, Brooke hears about how she got naked for him, and shows up at the hotel and fires Alex. She tells her she'll buy out her contract, but they're done. This doesn't keep her from working on the script with Julian though, so I don't know what's gonna happen with that.

Mouth gets back on the air by agreeing to talk about Nathan losing his endorsements (yeah, that happened too). However, when his segment airs, he actually talks about how this is all hearsay, and not actual news. If you are looking for sports and news, to change the channel because you won't find it here. He's definitely getting fired now.

Oh, and Brooke is working on a men's line and is using Chase as her measurement model, since Julian was too busy with Alex.

Naley are such a joy to watch because James and Joy are that rare, special, magical force together. Their chemistry radiates off the screen because their bond and connection with each other is very real and genuine, not manufactured at all, and so you get to see the very raw and organic portrayal of Naley through the JL's shine so bright in every single scene of theirs no matter what it is. When two people bring out the very best in each other, inspire each other in ways that nobody else can......magic happens for sure. It's why the show recognized their connection and chemistry right off the bat and instantly put Naley together from practically the beginning and had them get married at the end of S1 and never looked back...because to quote the showrunner/creator and the writers...they felt like a married couple. They called them lightning in a bottle, written in the stars, cosmic timing, and a slew of other adjectives to describe them, but whatever you want to call it, it's like white noise...it's always present, and something that makes OTH very special. So glad you see it too and can appreciate it, because it is very rare and special, and oh so captivating and mesmerizing. Not to mention that Naley make such a gorgeous and stunning pair, that I think we can all just stare at them for hours in amazement, hehe!!!!

I have to be honest. I watch a lot of TV. Like, a ton. And right now, there are two couples I'm watching that I've wondered if they truly were in love in real life. And it's Naley and Jamie and Claire from Outlander. I've never had that question before. No matter how good a couple's chemistry was. It is such a joy to watch them on screen.

That scene at the end between Naley is one of my top 5 favorite Naley scenes of all time, hehe. It's so underrated, but the JL's rocked that scene. It was such an intimate portrayal of the show's it couple, who have been through much, whose resolve is more determined now than ever, and James and Joy were so connected in that scene. They never lost eye contact with each other in that entire moment, and the intimacy between the two is palpable. it was like getting a private glimpse into their chemistry, and it radiates off the screen in portraying Naley. I've probably watched that scene a thousand times since it originally aired, and I could watch it a thousand more and it wouldn't be enough, hehe. It's amazing!!!

Nathan figuring out how not to be his father will always be my favorite Nathan.

Heather

I tolerated Quinn for Haley and Jamie, but she brought nothing to the show for me.

Heather

I really loved the Naley scene at the end. It really shows what Nathan learned in season 5/6. Haley's primary reason for paying off Renee is that she didn't want Nathan to face losing his dream. Haley saw what that did to him after his accident. But what Nathan really realized after that was that losing his family was worse and that being a husband and father was more important to him. That is his dream job. H: I don't want to see you lose your dream. N: Lose her? She's right here. And I'm never letting go of her.

Heather

I'm not a Quinn fan. She's one of my least favorite characters on the show. She's useless, irrelevant, corny and boring. Considering Haley is my favorite I really wanted to like her. I too was more interested in Clay's storyline away from the Quinn drama. I liked Clay away from Quinn, but together they were so rushed and forced like they were trying to make them the new Leyton. To me they were the new Mouth and Millie. Dull! I just didn't care.

Sabrina

I like the Quinn and Clay dynamic it’s not as good as Lucas and Peyton but it’s almost as good🤣🤣
