Shameless 7X9: Ouroboros

Fucking, Monica. Seriously. Every time she shows up, she just fucks shit up and then moves on. I cannot understand how Frank doesn't see the parallel between this and how his kids treat him. But, this time, she's here because she's dying. Apparently. Do we trust her? Hell if I know.

Anyway, Lip is back to drinking again. Youens sets him up for an interview to get a paid internship, but Lip sleeps through it. When he wakes up, he checks his messages, chugs some booze, and goes back to sleep. He tries to apologize and get back to together with Sierra, but she kicks him out.

Fiona finally seems to have a decent handle on the laundromat. However, while she has finally turned a profit, it's only .36.

Monica screws things up temporarily between Ian and Trevor, but they reconcile fairly quickly. Although, Ian is convinced that Trevor is underage because he doesn't want to go to a place where they card. It turns out, though, that it's because his ID is from before he transitioned and it's embarrassing and a hassle.

While Monica has screwed things up for Lip, she has managed to get Franny back for Debbie. Basically, she just beat the outside of the house with a baseball bat. While this is happening, Tanya comes back with Franny, and Monica and Debbie just take her and run. The next day at the DCFS meeting, Debbie is granted custody of Franny with some stipulations, and the Derek's family gets visitation rights. One of the stipulations is that she has to get a job, so she asks Fiona for one, who agrees, and even tells her Franny can come to work with her.

Kevin convinces V and Svetlana to go to couples therapy. The therapist spent the night googling 'throuple' so I don't know if she was the right therapist for them. Anyway, afterwards, Kevin feels much better, and V and Svetlana sort of feel the same. However, right after they get back, they find out that Svetlana is actually the owner of the Alibi and hasn't told either Kevin or Veronica.

And we find out that Mickey broke out of jail. Because, of course he did. Like Monica running around isn't going to cause enough problems.
