Tim finally bought the land! I'm so proud of him! But I'm super annoyed at Becky's mom for being so upset that he rejected her that now she's treating him like actual shit. I've really grown to love Riggins and I do not want to see people be mean to him. Also, it doesn't help that she hits on him after he tells her he's got a bunch of property. She's totally coming off as a gold digger. And I really hate that she took the super innocent night of watching a movie, to mean Tim was sleeping with her daughter and throwing him out. I hope only bad things happen to her in the future.
Luke's running out of pain medication constantly and the pharmacy has stop refilling him. He's desperate for some relief (I wasn't sure at first if this was pain or addiction, but it's definitely pain) and ends up going down to Carroll Park to buy some Oxy. Tinker sees him and finds out the truth. The team tries to keep it from Eric by running incorrect plays that Luke can actually handle, but Eric (not the know) shuts that shit down immediately. And the very next play, Luke is down for the count and his injury is finally revealed and he's out for the rest of the season. Sad.
I so don't really care about Matt and Julie anymore. She's acting like their relationship was some grand love story, but I don't buy it. It was an average relationship at best. However, no matter the kind of relationship, losing your first love is hard, and I feel for her. I just wish they went about portraying this in a different way. Plus, there is no way Tami or Eric is gonna sign that parental consent for her to traipsing around with Habit for Humanity, right?
And, Vince has finally ended up in the place we all feared he would. He got enough money to get his mom into rehab, but what did it cost him? He has to watch one of his friends get shot on a 'payment plan gone wrong.' Plus, he immediately runs to Jess. I still have no idea if she wants to be with him or Landry. Sigh.
Lastly, we've got this bullshit Tami debacle. There is 100% zero proof (or chance) that Tami told Becky to abort her pregnancy. We know. We saw it! Tami didn't even bring it up until Becky did. She went immediately to having the baby and adoption. But when Becky asked her about not keeping it, she (and it seemed somewhat reluctantly) told her she would send her literature on an abortion. And, like Tami keeps saying, her mom took her to do this! This is insane that Tami is all caught up in this.
