True Blood 3X3: It Hurts Me Too

So, this episode was so much better than the last one, but I'm still not hooked into this season.

Eric sends Sookie a werewolf to go with her as she heads to Mississippi to look for Bill. They hit up a werewolf bar where Sookie flirts, and then uses her mind reading abilities to discover that one of these werewolves is one who kidnapped and tortured Bill. However, he attacks her and Eric's werewolf comes to her aid.

Bill, meanwhile, for whatever reason, has pledged his loyalty to the kind of Mississippi and agreed to be his sheriff. I have no idea why he's doing this. He doesn't want to. The only thing I can think of, is it somehow keeps Sookie safe. Especially with all the flashbacks to Caroline and Lorena taught him he can't love humans and not hurt them.

The vampire who helped Tara take on the racist douchebags last episode (?), has a theoretical one night stand with her. Once he started asking questions about her, she spilts. However, he goes to Jessica and lets her know he's the one who took care of the dead body at the house and she spills a bunch of info about the town. Not sure what that's gonna lead to yet, but he did compel (what word to we use in True Blood? I can only think of the one from The Vampire Diaries) Tara to let her into Sookie's house when she initially refused.

Arlene discovers she's pregnant. And Terry is beside himself. He's so happy! But the pregnancy is longer than they've been together, so I don't think it's his. I wonder if it was just some rando at the zillions of orgies they were having at Maryann's.

And Bill and Lorena have some sort of violent sex frenzied encounter. I don't know what the hell it was. It started out with him wanted to kill her. This turned into him biting her, which she enjoyed, and it seemed like they were having sex (but I'm pretty sure his pants were on). Then he twisted her entire neck around and she's totally into it. She tells him she loves him and he freaks out and loses it. I have no idea what to make of this. Is this like Sookie being attracted to Eric because she drank his blood?
