I was super surprised we got this episode now. I kind of assumed that most of S7 would be dedicated to casting, filming, and producing the movie. I am shocked that we cast the entire thing in this episode.

Poor Brooke. I would have lost my shit if I had to deal with this actress. Also, I kind of hate myself for letting Julian off the hook about his 'breakdown' so easily. But his reasoning was actually how I felt about Brooke, so it was very easy to let it go. I'm really just crossing my fingers at this point that I (and Brooke) don't end up burned by him.

Ugh. Nathan gets the starting point guard job, but it means that Devon got fired. So, of course, Nathan feels terrible. He tries to talk the coach about it, but to no avail. Apparently, he's also trying to make it to the NBA, and he can't do that with a team that's constantly losing.

My brain sort of short circuited when I was talking about Dan this episode. I don't wanna believe anything that comes out of this horrible man's mouth. But also, I no longer roll my eyes, or cringe, or yell- just because he's on screen. I'm pretty sure I'm just being stubborn at this point (and doubling down on my 8 zillion, 'I'll never give him redemption,' marks) but I'm so conflicted right now. It really, truly does seem like he's trying to make amends. And I hate it, but also, I don't?

Also, why is Skills a baby proofer and handyman now? Why is he no longer coaching the team? It seems like once Q died, we all sort of gave up on basketball. I get Luke and Nathan are busy doing other things, but why wouldn't Skills still be there.

Lucas showing up for the ultrasound made me concerned about the baby. Now, I feel like I'm hyper vigilant about what's going on with her pregnancy. Mostly because they've given me no reason to feel this way. Lol.

And what do we think is gonna happen with Haley? I'm on her side. I probably would have published the story too, but I've done a lot of things in my jobs over the years that could have gotten me fired because I am very good at advocating for others, but not myself. Lol.

Side note: What's up with the last name Norris? It's one of the writer's last names, the actor who plays Mouth, and now Julian?
