9-1-1 4X7: There Goes the Neighborhood

At least until Michael ended up breaking into the apartment. I'm shocked that Athena didn't literally bang their heads together like coconuts. Yes, they ended up saving that woman (and who knows how many more in the future), but this is so highly illegal, right?
That girl that Buck was on a date with had to be acting like that on purpose. She was looking for something negative in everything he did. I can't believe they made it through the whole date. Also, if she's offended by everything Buck says, I feel like she'll feel the same about Albert, so I'm not sure this is better for her.
I know I complain a lot on this show about how they forgive everyone too quickly, but I actually don't hate it with Hen's mom here. I think that once she explained to Hen why she was acting like that, it sort of made sense. Plus, she's obviously not here looking for anything from Hen. I think this might end up with Hen and her mom having a better relationship.
Big fan of Maddie and Chim making those little baskets for their neighbors. I mean, I'm definitely biased, but I do think it's a lovely, neighborly thing to do.

I know! And then I kind of felt bad when it was actually something serious. But it was still so much fun to watch them together. Agreed. I don't have an issue with Hen basically forgiving her mom immediately here. I think this was more of a misunderstanding than anything else. Ooh, I did not pick up on that. But Buck's date went terribly. I feel bad for him. He was obviously not trying to be insulting, it just seemed like she was looking for problems. And Buck is so awesome! I hope he finds someone soon.

2024-08-14 12:30:04 +0000 UTComg the shenanigans in this episode 😂 the bobby/michael friendship is so special to me and then david getting roped into it had me cackling. such a funny trio! you know i hate the shitty parents redemption stories in this show but i do think hen’s mom is the exception. i don’t think she was nearly as bad as all the other parents and i do enjoy scenes with her and hen. i feel like they actually show her trying to be better. isn’t it funny how eddie decides to start dating again last episode and then this episode buck starts dating again too after they were both single for all of s3? i just think their dating pattern is so interesting.
