Whose bright idea was it to make Roger a Captain with no experience or training? Sorry, Jamie. It's rare I call you out, but you own some of this mess. But, since you're Jamie, you know that part of if it is your fault and why. So, carry on.
Anyway, we've lost some men due to Roger being Roger, but Jamie manages to sign up pretty much the whole town to join them. There might be some squabbles ahead about who is actually in charge, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Also, we all know that Jamie is a romantic at heart. I love this. And while I don't believe Roger actually fits into this 'love of our lives conversation,' I really liked it for the plot. I don't know who either Ally or Morton are, but by the end of the episode, I was in love with their love for each other. I hope they end up heading back the Ridge and staying with us.
I think we're leaving the baby behind. Lucinda (I think that was her name) just lost her baby, and wants to raise it. I know Jamie wants it to, but I think he understands that the life they lead isn't very conducive to a baby. Plus, he's got Claire. And with that, it's all her ever needs.
Was Bonnet ever actually around Fraser's Ridge? Or was this all in Brianna's head? I truly can't tell. But, as usual lately, Marsali coming in clutch. I love this girl. I will take her over Brianna any day.
