One Tree Hill 6X8: Our Life is Not a Movie or Maybe

I enjoyed this episode so much more than the last one. Which I found out is unusual. Lots of people seem to like the last episode. Oops.

I'm so done with Gigi. She needs to get the hell off this show. I know we are sort of low on drama right now, but come on. No one gets to hurts Millie. Listen to Nathan, Mouth!

Okay, everyone not only being supportive of Lucas's movie, but telling them who they wanted to be cast as them, was delightful. And Luke having to keep telling them that it was high school. And Brooke's crack about the CW. Pure gold.

WTF is Sam doing? I totally get her sneaking out and partying, but with Jamie?!? Seriously. I'm surprised Brooke didn't murder her on the spot.

But, we also kind of all think that Brooke might just give this dress to Peyton as is, right? It does sort of seem like her style. And Jamie saying he liked it might be some foreshadowing.

Also, I was super concerned about Julian. I wasn't sure if he could be trusted. But I didn't really know why. And I still don't. Is he someone I should know and forgot? Or just someone that Peyton knows? (Please actually answer that, but only with detail if I should actually know him).

I really love Haley explanation to Jamie about her first thoughts on Q. And then him regurgitating that back to Brooke later about Sam was lovely.

And speaking of Haley, I love the conversation between her and Nathan about SlamBall. He tried to explain (perfectly, if you ask me) how all her concern was effecting him, and she immediately understood. They had a conversation about it, and I just think their relationship is so strong and their communication is so good right now, we should be using it as examples for Comm classes.

To answer your question.... yes, James had a blast filming all the SlamBall stuff for Nathan. He got 3 weeks of personal training to prepare for this arc, and he loved every second of it. He never wanted to leave the court they built at the end of the day, he was having so much fun doing tricks and dunking from the trampolines. And Joy and Sophia had a blast watching him play since they were there for all the stuff as well. They actually flew the real SlamBall teams out to Wilmington to film when they began shooting, so it really had a lot of real elements to the stuff they filmed. James said it was the most fun shooting basketball he ever had!!! But back to this episode for a minute and Naley's awesome communication skills, love that we got to see all of that come to fruition in this episode. Starting with Nathan waking up sore and moving around gingerly and Haley being worried, to their conversation at the piano when Nathan is teasing Haley about all the faces she was making at him during the game, and he teased her back by mimicking said faces, lol, which led to Nathan teasing Haley about her carrying him upstairs, which was more unscripted goodness from The JL's when Nathan pulls Haley backwards and they fall on the couch together, before we see their massage scene in bed at the end, lol. They will always be perfection to me, and I adore all of these types of scenes between them. Glad you made mention about their communication skills now, and how far they have come over the years.

You're not supposed to know who Julian is, I can assure you it is not psycho Derek :D, in the next episode they will reveal his connection to Peyton
