The 100 4X7: Gimme Shelter
Added 2024-08-02 16:00:15 +0000 UTCI feel like this episode was weaker than the rest in this season so far, however, the end totally made up for it. Emori, that was brilliant.
So much of this episode was centered around the rain, which I get is important for the timeline going forward, but I think we could have had more storylines going on.
That said, we did get some amazing stuff in this episode. As we mentioned early, Emori's acting was brilliant. I did not guess, for second that this is what she had planned, however, it fits perfectly for her character. As John said, she's a survivor and will do whatever it takes to survive. She played Clarke so hard here.
Octavia finally figuring out how to feel again was nice as well. I wasn't sure if she was trying to kill herself with the acid rain or just feel something. But I'm leaning heavily toward feeling something, since she ends up having sex with Ilian 'just to feel something different.'
Bellamy being unable to save the people trapped out in the rain was heartbreaking. You could literally see him trying to figure out how he was going to be able to deal with the fact that he was leaving them to die. And then he took that feeling out on Kane. Which, Kane just ate, knowing Bellamy was hurting. Ugh.
Also, why isn't everyone just fighting to stay at the house all the time? It's clean and stocked and has hot running water. I feel like it would totally be looted by now, right?
