Surprise! The Flash 1X8: Flash vs. Arrow

So a few weeks ago, Sabrina, our Arrow sponsor, suggested I watch this crossover episode along with this week's episodes of Arrow. And here we are!

This was actually really easy to follow for someone who doesn't watch The Flash. It was also really fun. It seems quite similar to Arrow.

Anyway, our team shows up in Central City to see if they can help with this boomerang from the previous episode (which I don't actually think we ever got an answer on) and end up helping The Flash and his team with this guy who is causing rage in his victims and making them act in ways they typically wouldn't.

Unfortunately, Barry gets whammied and he and Arrow end up going to blows (while the teams back at Star Lab bet on which one will win). But Barry is actually trying to attack and beat Oliver, while Oliver is just trying to keep Barry contained so he doesn't hurt anyone.

And, while it took awhile, I do also like that Oliver ended up being the kind of mentor for Barry that it seems like he needs. I hope that the two of them keep in better touch in the future. I like this friendship for them. What they do can be lonely.

It makes me sad that neither Oliver or Barry think they can have the love they both want. They give so much, let's give them something. Please!
