Of course, fucking Tryon has to show up and tell Jamie that it's time to go on a Regulator hunt. Can we just not have one moment's peace in this family, please?
I'm super curious about how this is gonna play out between Jamie and Murtagh. Obviously, he tells Murtagh to get gone, so he doesn't have to arrest and kill him, but he's also going to be actively looking for him with an army of people. No idea how that is going to work. Jamie can control where he looks, but not other people. It's kind of a wild scenario if you think about it.
Jamie's got an army. I'm ready for the fighting to be over, but it's 1770 or something, so it's gonna be awhile.
I wish Jocasta had told Roger off instead of liking him for not wanting her money. I think I just wish everybody would tell Roger off. But it looks like Jamie is doing his best to bring him into the family. Sigh. Maybe I should just get over this.

I think Lord John and Brianna getting married would have been a terrible idea. I'm positive Jamie would not have been happy about it. Brianna and John would be doomed to a passionless marriage. Not something I would wish on anyone. Brianna and William are half siblings. Brianna would be stepmother to her half-brother. William would be stepbrother to his half nephew. Jamie would be Lord John's father-in-law and Claire would be Lord John's mother-in-law. What a mess! Also, the show did a character assassination on Roger and made a mess of his relationship with Jamie in Seasons 4 and 5. They've been trying to rehabilitate him ever since. Roger is probably my favorite character (besides Jamie and Claire) in the books, Jamie and Roger have a very close relationship. Jamie goes to him for counsel and depends on him to help run the ridge and care for the tenants. Roger is not a weakling in the books. The show did him dirty. I LOVE Roger and Brianna.
