Oh, I really, really enjoyed this episode. It felt both familiar, but also sort of new. I'm really excited for this season.
I was worried that the show would feel very different without Dillion as a backdrop, but we're still feeling that same old feeling. Whether in Dillion or East Dillion.
Love, love love Eric trying to figure out how to put together a new team. So far, it's pretty disastrous. But I love that we get to watch it come together. It's gonna be so much work, but I'm gonna have so much fun watching it.
Eric forfeiting that game was not something I would have ever considered as a possibility. But his players were so banged up. They need so much more conditioning. I'm gonna end up loving Vince, aren't I? I can see it coming already.
What the hell is J.D.'s problem? He was much more timid last season. Now, out of the gate, he's gonna start hitting on Julie and beating on Matt? WTF. I guess maybe he's just following in his father's footsteps.
Do we really think Julie is gonna end up at East Dillion? Tami would be mighty hypocritical if she doesn't let her go. But right now, it certainly seems like she's unhappy about it.
