Okay, so Carl has basically taken over the house. His money, his house, his rules. He's switched up bedrooms, and now Fiona is on the couch (which it's sort of impossible to be on because it's just like a giant house party in there). So, she ends up moving in with Sean.
Lip ends up losing his RA position (because Amanda painted on his wall), and while he's packing to go back home, he gets approached about being the houseboy for a sorority. He immediately accepts as it comes with room and board. Later he ends up getting drunk and going to Helene's house to drunkenly scream at it in the middle of the night. No one responds, but this is not a good look for Lip. Plus, he turned down sex. When does Lip turn down sex? (I mean, when he's not already getting it from somewhere else). He has such a bad habit of falling for girls (or women) who don't actually want to be with him.
Ian goes to a wedding with the firefighter, which basically upsets the whole family. They know he's gay, but they don't really accept it, so he and Ian make a show out of making everyone uncomfortable. Afterwards, it seems like they might want to have sex and Ian is all Ian about it, but the firefighter (I guess I should learn this guy's name) is like, it doesn't have to be like that. It can be slow and gentle.
Debbie is desperately trying to figure out how to have sex with Erika so she can stay in the house now that her cancer is in remission and they no longer need her. She gets advice from Carl, Frank, and the internet. Eventually, just as she's about to do...something, Frank calls and tells her she can move back into the house. She literally flees from the situation.
I liked a lot of pieces of this episode, but it feels a little disjointed, and at more than halfway through the season, I'm not really sure what we're building up to.
