Friday Night Lights 3X13: Tomorrow Blues

I knew that slimy little weasel was going to try to take Eric's job. And the fact that he's basically willing to take it for way less money than Eric, should tell the committee something. I'm sort of excited by the prospect of Eric starting over though. I mean, it's gonna be tough, since they drew those redistricting lines to keep all the football players on Dillon's side, but it'll be fun to see him with a new challenge. Plus, it totally solves the problem, of what are we gonna do when all our main characters go off to college, but Dillion, Texas is sort of a character on it's own. I don't think we can lose it, and keep the same tone of the show.

Lyla decides to accept Buddy's offer to call his brother to borrow the money for Vanderbilt, and Tim seems really happy for her. He decides to forgo college and work in the garage Billy is about to open, but Billy won't hear of it. And tells him he has to go.

Matt got into the Art Institute in Chicago. But then we had to watch him put grandma in a care home, and it was so sad. And she was trying to be so brave about it. But while at the wedding, Julie makes an offhand remark about how much his grandma would have liked the wedding, and Matt goes to get her and tells her, she's moving back home with him and he's not going to Chicago. I'm not sure how much of that was fueled by the fact that Julie tried to break up with him because he was leaving, though. Either way, I guess he'll still be Dillon next season. I guess maybe Eric can hire him over in East Dillion.

And Tyra got into UT. Her sheer and utter joy was incredible. She worked so hard for this. And things have not been easy for her along the way.

I'm actually really excited to start S4. I'm annoyed that I can't watch it for over a week. Lol.
