This was actually a good episode in terms of emergency, but I don't think we got enough of our friends for being the season finale. (Although, I might be biased since I don't watch this again for a week. Lol.).
That said, the train derailment is a massive disaster. Abby certainly knows her stuff.
I'm so glad they didn't end up needing to choose which person to save. I don't know how you live with something like that on your conscious. And Buck wasn't letting Abby's fiancé die, so he concocts a crazy Buck plan to save them both. It did end up working out, but I feel like it so easily could have gotten him killed. But that's just Buck, I suppose.
And speaking of Buck, he finally got the closure he needed with Abby. I'm hoping that he's able to move on now and find someone to share his life with. I don't always advocate that people need to be a relationship to be happy, but Buck really wants to be. He doesn't want to be alone.
In other news, Michael's tumor has shrunk! We aren't out of the woods yet, but this is good news.
Something is going on with May. I don't know what, but I'm wondering if she's thinking about being some kind of victim advocate? What could she possibly want to talk to Maddie about? They aren't really close.
And Maddie! She's pregnant! Is she sure? Two pregnancy tests positive sure. I was so worried that Chim was going to be upset because it took him a beat to respond but when he finally did, he seemed so happy!
