Fanfic on Vacation
Added 2024-07-20 02:00:04 +0000 UTCSo, you guys might know I'm big on fanfic. I read a crazy amount of it. Currently, I'm down an Alex/Henry rabbit hole from Red White and Royal Blue.
Are there any fics you guys can recommend that I read on vacation that don't spoil anything?
Here where I am/what I like (but feel free to suggest stuff outside of my preferred ships):
The 100: Through S3- Clarke/Lexa; Clarke/Bellamy; Clarke/Raven; Octavia/Lincoln
One Tree Hill: Through S5- Naley; Leyton
Arrow: Through S3- Olicity; Thea/Roy
Outlander: Through S4- Jamie/Claire
9-1-1: Through S3- Buddie; Maddie/Chim
True Blood: Through S2- Sookie/Bill; Sookie/Eric; Lafayette/anyone
I'm bringing three books with me, but I need to have options!

Dana there are so many great Naley fanfics that I'd love to share with you....but when I was going through them all, I never realized how so many of the longer, captivating chapter fics mention future characters that you haven't been introduced to yet, or feature future plots, and storylines, so I think I'll probably have to wait until you reach the end of a couple more seasons before I share the bulk of them with you. Maybe by the time you've finished S7, lol. I didn't want to just give you a bunch of one-shot or scene extension fics, although when you finish the series, I can give you a link that has a ton of stuff that will keep you busy for years to come, lol. I did find one author for you that I can share though......she only has 2 Naley stories and they are mostly AU and oh so good. It's on fanfic and her name is BelievelandGirl and "Hold onto Me" is a rewrite of S4 that I think you'll really enjoy. It's a brilliant concept that has all kinds of twists and turns and is such a great take on that season....and it's all Naley. It's something that you'll definitely enjoy reading and thinking to yourself how great it would have been to see something like that play out on screen. It's a long story at 56 chapters and it will keep you entertained for sure. And she also has another story called "Take My Hand" and it's another AU world Naley one, that won't spoil any future stories for you, so you'll be safe with that one too, hehe. It's another long one at 51 chapters, but the only downside is that it's not quite finished, but it's oh so captivating, and enjoyable that you'll love reading what she has for it anyways, even if it wasn't finished. Read "Hold onto Me" first, but you can't go wrong with either. I think they'd make for some great vacay reading for you :)

2024-07-20 05:52:03 +0000 UTCoh i read some good leyton fics back in the day but it was like 20 years ago so i have no idea how to find them now but there’s so many buddie fics i could link, the most memorable ones to me take place after s4 but i’m sure there’s some amazing pre-s4 ones too
