True Blood 2X9: I Will Rise Up

Eric is a fucking bullshit douchebag liar. Fuck that guy. But I'm happy Bill seems to be keeping in temper in check about it. He seems to think this would have happened at some point anyway, so no one is really worse for wear here. But, this does mean that Eric will be able to find Sookie wherever she is. How is Bill gonna keep her safe? And what does it mean if Sookie ends up sleeping with Eric because she's now sexually attracted to him? Does that count as cheating? Would Bill be justified in being upset? Killing Eric? What are the rules for this?

Also, it turns out Godric volunteered to 'Meet the Sun.' He decided that 2000 years old was long enough to live and he didn't really like the way vampires were living anyway. After he's fired from his position of sheriff, he decides to hang out on the roof when the sun came up and die in the sunlight. Eric begs him not to, but Godric, as his maker, orders him to let him. Sookie stays with him while he dies.

Maryann is just getting worse and worse. I'm so ready for her to be off the show. I'm hoping the end of this season is her demise. She's literally advocating for everyone to be drunk and high all the time, because she thinks it makes people closer to god. Okay, but when she makes them drunk or high, they end up regretting everything they do (plus, they don't remember half of it). This is all just for her own enjoyment and amusement.

Tara's mom and Lafayette come looking for Tara and try to take her home (and away from Maryann and Eggs). Tara gets the black eyes and attempts to attack her mother. Eventually, Lafayette tosses her over his shoulder and drags her into the car, as she screams and tries to get away. Maryann tells Eggs not to worry about it. She'll be back.

I've mentioned this before, but it's so past time for Sookie to come home and reclaim her damn out. I want this lady gone.
