I have no idea how this show manages to reduce me to a blubbering mess every episode. Sure, if something is going on with our friends, but now I'm even crying for characters I don't know. How do they do that?

I'll admit. I was a little skeptical about Maddie going back to the place she killed Doug and that somehow giving her closure, but it worked for her and that's all that mattered. Also, I'm a big fan of, I don't care what works, as long as it helps you feel better, so this is kind of up my alley, I guess.

Oh, poor Michael. I was so busy being concerned about Bobby that I didn't stop to think that this was anything serious with Michael. Not to mention, it really sucks for Bobby to have to keep that secret from Athena and the kids. I wonder how Athena is gonna react when she finds out Bobby already knew.

And I love that Karen and Hen are thinking of being foster parents. I think that will really suit them. I don't even mind that Karen set up this appointment without consulting Hen, which is something that would ordinarily bother me, but I think they know each other well enough, and are on the same page, that I feel okay with it.

What a beautiful ending. I love how intertwined everyone is. It's like they are all one big extended family.
