How Much Do You Care About Thumbnails?

It's been so difficult to upload the last week or so (everything crashes and takes multiple attempts), and now it's refusing to let me make thumbnails. (Actually, it was last week as well, but if I could just catch it at a non temperamental time, it seemed to work).
In times like this, when it's sort of beyond my control, are you guys okay with basically getting no thumbnail as long as the video goes up?
Honestly, picking thumbnails is pretty enjoyable for me and it's kind of bummer not to be able to do it, but I feel like you'd probably rather just have the video rather than waiting for Vimeo to figure it's shit out. Right?

I do enjoy your thumbnails......especially your OTH ones, lol. I always look forward to guessing which ones you might use for each episode, and I'm usually pretty accurate when it comes to your Naley choices, hehe. And without giving anything away, let's just say that over the stretch of the next several episodes you are going to have soooo much to choose from, so hopefully Vimeo gets fixed soon. Fingers crossed!!!

I can probably fairly easily make them up in Canva, but I'm just so behind this week, that I don't really have time to check. They are coming back, just not this week unless Vimeo fixes itself. Sigh.

I don't know how the embed vimeo videos work, but maybe you can make a random screenshot as the main post and post the video link as a comment under it? I personally don't really care, sure its fun to see your disgusted expression to a still of Dan, or Rachel, or similar stuff like that 😂, but I feel Thumbnails only ever matter on the Youtube edited video to make people to click on it.

2024-06-26 07:10:27 +0000 UTCI like the thumbnails too! It feels like you guys know what I loved in the episode. The amount I paid for a year of Vimeo is gross. So, I'm totally gonna stick it out for the rest of my cycle. But I will totally look into the others (I think Dropbox is less than I paid) afterwards. Hopefully, they resolve this soon. But for the rest of this week, I might have to go thumbnail-less. Sigh.

I don't know if you would want to but maybe you could try a different video platform since Vimeo is giving you problems. I know a lot of patreons use Dropbox, Google drive, and/or Onehub to upload their videos.
