Shameless 5X9: Carl's First Sentencing

I really loved the Carl and Chuckie stuff in this episode. I wish this entire episode was that. We spend way too much time on Frank and his doctor, when we could have been using that time to watch Sammi carve a fucking swastika on Chuckie's forehead. But, seriously, I could not handle Sammie in this episode. And what I mean by that is, she was a ton of fun to watch. It's so much more enjoyable to watch her be crazy as opposed to annoying.

Mickey got Ian back on his meds. So far, so good, but it's still very early days for him.

Lip is now sleeping with his professor (which is a terrible idea), and managed to get a loan to cover his tuition for the semester. So, things are going better for him. Kevin, is sleeping with every sober co-ed he can find. But it seems like he's headed back to Veronica soon. We'll see how she takes it when he tells her about his exploits.

And why did we spend half an episode with Frank and his doctor? It seemed out of place. But really, I was so into the other storylines, I was just kind of annoyed that we kept going back to that.
