I feel bad for this episode. It was a perfectly fine episode. But coming after the last two, it kind of felt like a let down. It suffered just because it followed greatness. Lol.
But the 9-1-1 system going down was such a mess. I didn't really think about how complex and controlled everything was. It is so much more efficient now than the way they'd been doing it before. I mean, the 118 ended up in an empty lot!
Is Chimney the first ever work from home firefighter?
This felt so out of character for Michael. I'm really glad he and Bobby ended up sitting down and hashing it out. I can understand why Michael would have felt that way, but as he's always been such a big Bobby supporter, it sort of came out of nowhere. (Also, can you guys tell me if Michael broke up with his boyfriend? I totally talked over that. I really need to watch everything with captions. I went back and rewatched it later and I THINK he said 'we broke up' but I can't tell.).
And poor Maddie and Chim. This is really just them taking some time, right? Please don't let this be over before it even begins.
