So the Mary/Randall thing turned out exactly how I thought it would. It just made sense. That said, she's now married to Randall, which totally sucks. I can't believe we're counting on his love for Alex to keep him from raping and assaulting Mary. It doesn't seem like a well thought out plan.
It took me way too long to realize who Colum was. Whoops. And speaking of Colum, why does he get to dictate that Hamish goes to Jamie? Isn't he literally Dougal's child? How does that work? Although, I do like that Jamie and Claire are sort of 'collecting' kids. Especially since Frank said he'd never be able to love a child that wasn't his own. I don't know how that's gonna play out when she goes back to Frank and has Jamie's baby.
Plus, right before Colum died, he told Claire that Gilly's baby lives. That's gotta be important, but I'm not sure how yet.
I'm so anxious about the season finale. You just know that Claire is gonna end up going back through those stones. I do not want S3 to start with her in 1948!

While not accurate, legally Mary's baby would be a direct descendant of Black Jack's if Alex's baby was recorded as Jack's. Mary and Black Jack are married, so the assumption, especially in that time, is that the baby is his. Alex wanted Mary and his baby to benefit from Jack's name and station. History could be wrong because of misinformation and Frank could actually be a direct descendant of Alex Randall.
