Friday Night Lights 2X8: Seeing Other People

I really loved Tim apologizing to the team and Eric letting him rejoin. This is super important, I think. Without football, Tim is 100% going to end up dead. I'm thinking maybe he can also move in with Buddy, as Santiago has that second bed in his room.
The fight Eric and Tami had about Glenn, was handled well and I enjoyed it. Also, while I don't really like the plot point, I think Tami and Julie's fight about the teacher was really well done.
That said, I wasn't really into the Smash plot this episode. And while, I'm not really into the 'Landry killed this guy' story, I'm super curious to see what happens with this next episode.
I'm pleased that Matt broke up Lauren (whose name I finally remembered after they broke up). While I think a relationship with Carlotta is going to be messy and potentially problematic, I really think they like each other. So for now, I'm willing to go with it.
