How I didn't spend this entire episode in tears in beyond me. I was actually a little concerned that she was gonna lose this baby, but I was also somehow surprised when she actually did.
I was also expecting to find that Randall had raped Fergus and that's why Jamie ended up breaking his promise. I was less surprised that that turned out to be true. And I HATE the fact that Fergus ended up reacting exactly like Jamie. Feeling ashamed and blaming himself.
PEOPLE, RANDALL IS THE PROBLEM.
Was anyone else as surprised as I was when the king asked Claire to decide whether or not the Count or Raymond were practitioners of the dark arts? I was so not expecting that. And honestly, I wasn't sure if Claire was gonna sentence the Count to death or not. I feel like I would have been fine either way. Especially after he admitted to poisoning her! But he's dead now, so he got his anyway. Lol.
And after all that, the king still makes Claire have sex with him in exchange for Jamie's freedom (if you wanna call that sex, it was like, 3 thrusts).
On the plus side, she and Jamie seem to be better now. After all the shit they've been through, they really need each other and they seem to agree.
Also, we're going back to Scotland! Which I'm torn about. I'd rather they be in Scotland, but being in Scotland means we can't save future Scotland. Since we already know Scotland lost the battle, I don't even know if we have another plan.
