Can you imagine, fighting to stay sober and then have someone slip you not even pot brownies, but ACID laced brownies? Plus this all happened on his daughter's birthday! And to make it even worse, she really thought she was doing something nice for them!
I really hated that reporter. And I really, really hated (although story-wise I loved it) that she wanted to use all that high footage because it would be better for her career. Fuck that. Especially when this team is full of actual, real life, heroes.
Yet again, I find myself completed enraptured by Maddie's scenes.
Are Maddie and Chim gonna get together?!? Please! I would love that so much! They really seem well suited for each other.
Also, I love how well Bobby seems to fit into Athena's family. I do not want these two to break up. Thank you.

It does make me misty eyed the way Athena’s family wholeheartedly embraces Bobby. I just love how much he’s found a family with her and not just a romance. My heart does break for Bobby for his sobriety though.

2024-09-04 20:14:38 +0000 UTCi always cry at that ending. the way athena’s family loves and welcome bobby into their family is so beautiful and that song choice is so spot on. “when you love someone, you open up your heart, when you love someone, you make room” 😭 bobby deserves this second chance at a family the story about hen getting shot as a teenager actually happened to aisha (the actress that plays her) so they incorporated that into the show and it really does add so much to the scene. ugh i hate taylor kelly. i don’t hate many characters on this show but she’s an exception for me. i know she wants to get ahead in her career but the fact that she wanted to air all of that bobby footage of him relapsing and the roof stuff knowing he lost someone. i just can’t with her. and yay to more maddie interacting with the others especially chim!
