One Tree Hill 4X11: Everything In Its Right Place

This episode was a little disappointing. I think it's my own fault though. I said I wanted a more light hearted episode. They gave that to me, and I was upset that they didn't dig more into the 'meat' of the story right now. So it turns out, I don't know what I want. Lol.

Luke recovered really, really quickly. I'm glad to see that Haley isn't back to her normal life just yet because that would have felt pretty far fetched. Speaking of Haley, she is too good for this world. Her greatest worry was that Daunte's family would be grieving for him. But I really loved (and totally understand) her line of 'Why is it easier to forgive people we don't know and not people we love.' (Those are single quotation marks because I don't remember what she said verbatim.)

Nathan ends up lying to her and telling her he didn't know who the driver was, but he comes clean quickly and fesses up about everything. Haley is not happy and goes to stay with Lucas, which prompts Nathan to want to turn himself in. Which says a lot. I cannot imagine him offering that a few seasons ago. Even now it's hard to imagine because that means leaving pregnant Haley alone.

But of course, they rule the accident the cause of death and asshole Dan is out of jail. That happened way too quickly. But I LOVE that Nathan's first assumption was that Dan paid off the coroner to change the cause of death. Because he 100% would do that.

If this show is giving me nothing else lately, I'm getting quick, easy Naley reconciliations. I can deal with everything else. But I cannot deal with Nathan and Haley being apart anymore.

Brooke and Rachel, Mouth, and Deb's stories this episode felt like they just took away from everything else. Just focus on who knows that Dan killed Keith! This is what I need to know! Lol. (Please, don't tell me.)

Also, why do we have episodes that are less than 40 minutes?!? I'm not a fan.

Plus this isn't the greatest thumbnail, but I couldn't resist one where I look like I'm ready to box Dan.

Oh I'm sure. This is definitely gonna be one that end up on the rewatch list a lot. I've seen Gilmore Girls well over 100 times and I'm still finding stuff I never noticed before. I think the rewatches for this show are going to be just as much fun!

I so did not look at it that way, but this point of view makes him being out and having to deal with his guilt, a better punishment for him.

Dana Licciardello

Right?!?

Dana Licciardello

No prob 😄

I know how you feel, when I first watched I was so into the plots, I was very interested in the “sideline stuff”! After re watching a few times, you catch onto a lot of things you missed the first second and third time around! Deb’s hilarious, Rachael you love to hate her and so on! lol

Jamie Sawyer

I’m happy Dan was released, deserved it!! Reason being, he’s so disgusting, manipulative and horrible to find a way to “get his way into prison” so he can “do his time “ for what he did to Keith but “under Dans rules”… gross!

Jamie Sawyer

OMG. I totally forgot. There was so much else going on in that episode. But thank you! I appreciate the refresher :)

Random side note since you were asking during episode. Karen dropped Deb off at rehab on their way to the state championship 🙃

Ali M

"You literally just said this to Brooke half a season ago." Exactly! 🤔
