Shameless 4X9: The Legend of Bonnie and Carl

Am I the only one who feels like Fiona is not taking responsibility for this? I get making a mistake. And I get trying to put it behind you and move on, but it feels like she really feels like none of this was her fault. I'm glad that she's getting some consequences though. That said, she's really playing fast and loose with this house arrest. Why would you cut it so close to 6pm?

Ha. I kind of love Sheila coming home and not really caring that all her stuff is gone and these strangers have just moved in. It seems fairly in character for her. And her trying to marry Frank so she can adopt all of Roger's kids is also something I feel like she'd do.

It feels like Lip is falling right back into the same situation he had with Mandy. But honestly, Mandy did manage to get him into college, and this chick (I have no idea what her name is) looks like she might get him to pass his classes, so maybe these women are good for him? He certainly doesn't seem happy about it, though. Also, we supposed to assume that Mandy's boyfriend hit her after he found out about her and Lip, right?

This 'relationship' is totally gonna be bad for Carl. I know this is probably the girl of his dreams, but if she's pulling real guns on people for fun (which Carl would love to do), these two are gonna eat each other alive. They're gonna be sharing a jail cell before the season is over.

Also, The Alibi coming to Frank was a really lovely, and sweet gesture. But I cannot figure out what they are gonna do with Frank's character. I don't think he's gonna die, because there are a zillion seasons in this show (and it was popular enough in the zeitgeist that I feel like I'd have heard if he left the show halfway through), but I can't see any way for him to get well either. Is he just gonna be half-dead for the rest of the show?
