Hello, Hello.

So, we've had a decent influx of new members recently. Hi! I just wanted to provide some quick context about me for people who are new.

Very briefly, if you are surprised that I haven't seen X or Y: I didn't really start watching any TV until my late 20s, so I missed pretty much everything that was 'of my era.' No, I didn't grow up in a cult or anything, I just read all the damn time. Now I only read, like, half the damn time. Lol.

I'm not a big movie watcher either (although I do watch a decent amount of horror movies) so the answer to 'have you seen this movie?' is pretty much always no. But I do have a love of coming of age stories, so I've probably seen more of them than anything else. All that to say, I much prefer TV to movies.

I talk a lot. And very quickly. Occasionally, I catch myself and try to slow down, but more often than not, my mouth just runs away with itself.

Also, I had a pretty shitty education. I was in Catholic school until high school and I learned very little in the way of math, science, and history. So I have huge, tremendous gaps in those areas. When I got to high school, I barely knew how to divide. Forget algebra. I have no idea how I graduated high school. (Says the girl with a BA and an MA. But both are in Communication, so let's not get crazy here.) Point is, there are probably gonna be a lot of times when you're like, 'how does she not know X?' This is your answer.

I read all your comments. I might not always respond though. I'm watching about 25ish episodes of TV a week. And believe it or not, responding to comments take a lot of time. You'll probably notice I respond much more quickly to 'have you seen X?' or 'I want to sponsor Y' or 'I love that you did Z.' It's just less time consuming. But you'll also notice that while I'm reacting, I do answer and respond to comments, it's just easier for me that way. But I love your comments and I read them all. Plus, they make me think about what I've watched and I think that makes for better reactions. So, thank you!

I'm supposed to post a schedule of the upcoming week on Fridays, but in all honesty, that doesn't always happen. I'm pretty good about it, but not perfect. It is always up before the week actually starts though.

Anyway, the point is, I'm happy you're here. Welcome!
