One Tree Hill 4X7: All These Things That I've Done

These guys are so not from Duke. I really thought they were, like, recruiters of some kind. Now I think they're loan sharks? Like I said, anything is possible in Tree Hill. Lol. Either way, I don't think we've seen the last of them.

Deb is out of control. She (like everyone else in this town) needs to go see a qualified therapist. Why is no one in therapy? Seriously. Was it still super taboo back in the early 2000s? I remember going a couple times around that time right after my dad died, and no one seemed to bat an eye about it. On the plus side, Tric belongs to Karen again. As it should be. But I'm not thanking Dan for it.

So Brooke and Rachel are friends? I can never tell with them. But here's the thing, Rachel as shown time and again that she absolutely would do something like this, so I don't blame Brooke for thinking she would again. And it really did seem like the teacher liked her, even though it was fucked up, so I can see where Brooke is coming from. But of course, this is gonna send Brooke back into a pit of insecurity. Sigh.

Haley got into Duke! No big surprise, but I love that they are doing this together. I still feel like she's not going to end up having this baby. I don't know what's gonna happen, but I have a feeling that's where we're heading at the end of this season. All the plans she and Nathan make are gonna blow up because she's gonna lose this baby. I know it.

Oh and Peyton's got some aggression therapy going on. It wouldn't work for me, but hey I'll take it.

Also are 95% of my thumbnails going to be Nathan and Haley? Yes, yes they are.

Without a doubt.... Rachel is a terrible influence on Brooke. In fact, S4 Brooke is probably my least favorite Brooke out of the high school years, and Rachel's influence is most definitely a big reason why. Just not a big fan of petty and childish Brooke, and I felt she pretty much regressed this season with the majority of her story arcs.

I think Nathan and Brooke are very similar in that they have lacked guidance from their terrible parents, so it's important for them to have people in their lives who can help guide them in the right direction. That person is not Rachel for Brooke. She is such a terrible influence on her.

I always enjoy this episode...mostly for Naley, hehe, but as you can see there's lots of moving parts that set the stage for what's to come. And no worries...I'd be okay with 100% of your thumbnails featuring Naley, but I'll settle for 95%, lol. And speaking of Naley...yes, you can see there's trouble ahead for sure regarding Nathan getting involved with loan sharks because he has no other way out and he thinks he's doing what's best for his family. And now Lucas is inadvertently involved, which Nathan didn't want, and it's difficult to watch both brothers have to betray the game they love so much.... especially Nathan since he wants a future in the sport. Haley getting into Duke and wanting her and Nathan to both go there is couple goals for sure...but really was there any doubt? It's Naley after all, lol, but really it doesn't matter where they end up, just as long as they are together. And I find your pregnancy debates and theories fascinating, so we'll see if you're right.... stay tuned, hehe. Although you seem very passionate and have thought out immensely one side of the coin for sure, but I'll be very curious to see if your opinion evolves to other possibilities as well. And how cute were Naley at the end when they come home to the apartment and it's wrecked by the kids, and Haley throws Nathan's words back at him with the line..."I'll like our kid", lol. Gosh...I love them so much, and Haley putting the money in Nathan's pocket and pulling him away by his tie was another unscripted JL's moment. That one was all Joy and gosh it was so perfect for them!!! Deb is definitely a mess and spiraling out of control, and seems pretty hopeless at this point, so we'll see what becomes of her this season, and despite Dan and all his shortcomings, he at least did the right thing for Karen in getting Tric back for her. Rachel and Brooke are more frenemies than anything else at this point, although this latest arc with the teacher might begin to shift things perhaps...we'll see. I never really cared much for this relationship because I've always felt that Rachel was a terrible influence on Brooke's life at this point, and that's not really what she needed here, but we'll see if things evolve. And I do like real Derek for Peyton. He at least seems better than her woe is me sob story which she's had for way too long so far during the show, so I very much enjoyed a story that was more focused on her fighting back and dealing with her trauma outside of only having Lucas to count on and come to her rescue.
