Stranger Things 1X4: Chapter Four: The Body
Added 2024-04-25 00:00:06 +0000 UTCSo, it feels like stuff is actually starting to come together this episode! I mean, I still have a zillion questions, but we're definitely getting somewhere.
It looks like my question of, 'If you die in the alternate reality, do you die in real life?' has been answered. No. At least not that I can tell. The 'Will' that washed up in the quarry was not even human. (Which Joyce seemed to know immediately.)
But Will is still stuck 'hiding' in the house. Thanks to Eleven, not only could Joyce hear him, but the boys too. So now, they seem to be back to believing Eleven. (And Lucas might stop being mean to her. Maybe.) And then Joyce took an ax to the damn wall of the house, but Will was gone and all she found was outside. Sigh.
However, Nancy got Jonathan to re-develop the picture and saw the same no faced monster things that Joyce described, so we may be on to something there.
I'm so so so looking forward to seeing Hopper at the lab next episode. I think I was right. He's totally gonna be one of the best characters.

Agreed! This was one of the first episodes where I was actually able to start connecting things and feeling like stuff was happening for real. This was easily the best episode for me so far. I just had a feeling Hopper was gonna be great. I'm so glad it's turning out to be true!

2024-04-26 20:14:26 +0000 UTCI feel like this is the episode where shit really starts to go down. That last 10 minutes or so gives me chills every time. Hopper is definitely one of my favorite characters and I feel like this is the first really good Hopper episode!
