Friday Night Lights 2X1: Last Days of Summer

That said, I'm not entirely sure how Landry and Tyra dumping a guy he killed in a river is going to play out in this show, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I'm just hoping this ends up being more about the relationship between the two of them and not spending the whole season with police trying to solve this murder. I mean, we need something, obviously, but I'm hoping that does not become the whole focus.
Super interested on what's going on with Julie and Matt. Are they breaking up? He seems to want to be with her much more than she wants to be with him. But that feels like it's kind of always been par for the course.
I'm guessing Eric isn't going to stay gone for long. Everyone seems to dislike the new coach. And we haven't even heart from Eric about his job in TMU. I don't think it'll last long.
What the hell is up with Lyla? Is she in her era of trying on different personalities, because that would make sense? But in all honesty, Teen Christian Warrior, really seems to suit her.

personally like you i think it’s fine and justifiable as well but i wouldn’t tell the cops that he was walking away, more like Landry hit him over the head while he was attacking Tyra. Julie annoyed me so much this episode, i wish she would just let Matt go rather than keeping him on a string just to try and cheat on him. i hate this new coach too, Eric needs to return.
