So, I'm definitely thinking we've got some kind of alternate realities or timelines going on here. We've got Barb, who's in the same space she was taken in, but it looks all post-apocalyptic. And we've also got Will, who Eleven says is hiding in his house, and he (assuming it's actually him) tells Joyce he's 'right here' via the Christmas light Ouija board.
But then we find Will's body. If you die in an alternate reality, do you die in this one? (Don't answer that).
Also, we get some Eleven backstory, which I was a big fan of. Curious to see what Hopper ends up digging up on the lab. I mean, if this is what we know was going on in there, imagine what we don't know.

I'm not saying that Steve is an angel in this episode or anything. But this is one of those moments where I fully support him. Jonathan deserved to have his camera broken. This was beyond creepy. This was violating. If someone took pictures of me undressing from outside my window you bet your ass I would break his camera. If my boyfriend broke the camera I would be on the sidelines cheering. I don't hate Jonathan but these are the consequences of his decision. Clearly he's not mature enough to own this camera (lack of maturity is putting it lightly to). I actually think breaking his camera was getting off lightly. A more violent person would have beaten him within an inch of his life. BTW That last scene always gets me crying. It's so emotional in general but especially with that beautiful cover of "Heroes" by Peter Gabriel 😭
