I'm really enjoying Brooke and Haley's friendship right now. But I'm so tired of Peyton being a bitch to her. I do not understand, at all, why these girls feel the need to be total bitches to Haley. I hate them. (At least Peyton sort of has a reason, she actually knows Haley, but those other girls couldn't have picked Haley out of a lineup last year!)
Oh! I think there might be actual hope for Nathan and Haley! That said, I'm really sure what Nathan meant. Does he want to work on the marriage? Or just see how it goes on its own?

Well, I certainly love all your ramblings because it means your invested in the show, and it just makes you seem even more heartfelt and authentic, and that's not always the case with every reactor, so I certainly appreciate you. And seeing how hard you ship my all-time favorite ship makes me fall in love with them all over again...so it's been so exciting for me watching how invested you have become in Naley in such a short amount of time, hehe. And I will say this...I think you brought it up in episode 2x02 when the gang threw Naley their surprise wedding reception and after everybody was toasting them you got emotional and said that you felt like that episode was earned...and I will say that was an important component to bring up about Naley even back then because I too feel like they are written completely different than everybody else on this show. And props to the writers for recognizing what they had in James and Joy to go there with Naley and be invested in them and write for them in the way they do because their scenes and storylines have a different level of depth, intimacy, connection, and grace about them that aren't portrayed nearly as well or even the same with the other couples. The rest of the gang is written more along the lines of what you'd expect with immature high school couples, featuring multiple break-ups, switching partners, before maybe getting back together.... but with Naley it just feels way different. I feel like they are the exception!!! And with Haley going on tour with Chris and The Wreckers, it was more so that she was even part of a tour like that while she was in high school no less, that contributed to her celebrity like status that she has now. Sure for that time and genre, Chris would have been considered a decent musician on the show, and The Wreckers were popular enough for the time period, but for somebody like Haley to go from a nobody to a somebody seemingly overnight, and oh yeah already be married to Nathan Scott as well....let's just say it's not a hard stretch to envision the jealously and hostility she feels walking down the hallways. And yes---Peyton's own issues right now are definitely playing a role in her bitchy attitude towards Haley.

That's really all I want. I'm watching, like, 10 shows or something right now, and I enjoy a lot of ships, but none of them hold a candle to Nathan and Haley. I cannot believe how quickly and HARD I feel for them. I only sort of vaguely remember The Wreckers. I didn't realize they were that popular! But I've never been cool. Lol.

I got everything you were saying, hehe. Dan does seem to sink lower and lower with each episode doesn't he, but he so plays the part to perfection. Can't imagine anybody other than Paul in the role. And yes....Naley sure are the best part of the show hands down. Of course, I always think that, but I'm loving how hard you ship them now and just want them happy and together forever, hehe. As for Nathan's mindset...you'll get more clarity moving forward, but I don't know if you caught that when Brooke told Haley that sometimes people play hard to get because they need to know the other person's feelings are real, she was also alluding to Nathan's feelings for Haley too. Brooke and Nathan sort of parallel each other right now. So while Brooke is testing Lucas and keeping him at bay afraid to get too close, it's sort of the same thing that Nathan is doing with Haley. Hopefully that might help shed some insight into things. And of course, the hand gesture on the small of Haley's back at the end is always swoon worthy. No matter what...Nathan doesn't want Haley to have to deal with bullies at school. And speaking of bullies and mean girls...yes...those girls were so annoying, but as Nathan said, it's high school, they don't need a reason to hate you, and the truth is they are extremely jealous of Haley at the moment. In a small town such as Tree Hill, Haley would be considered a huge celebrity right now just returning from a popular tour with Chris Keller and The Wreckers, who sang a popular duet with an older known musician that spiked up the pop charts, and oh yeah...she happens to be married to the school hottie...most popular guy on campus, so yes....they are extremely jealous of Haley right now, lol!!! But she has Brooke in her corner and Nathan came to her rescue...so things weren't so bad!!!! And oh yeah...how could I forget about Whitey....he's also a huge Naley shipper as well. Loved his detention ploys, he's the best. So keep enjoying the show and I so look forward to all your OTH reactions. You're so gonna love this season...I know it!!!
