The reason season 4 is GOATd for me is because it doesn’t suffer from that and everything is written so greatly. Even the political stuff is fast paced and interesting. I do like this season though. EDIT: nah herc lost his job because of allllll the fuck ups in his career lol he just said that bs

HBO wasn't the Wire's only opp, the actual city officials in Baltimore were never flattered to have their city depicted to the world as such a corrupt and violent city and each year of the show these elected officials bitched at HBO about it .
