ADDENDUM: Dai, I do NOT hold you directly responsible for ANY of the writing complaints on this. You did a great job. My issue is with Hawk. Hot voice, quality model, and some good concepts, but… I feel like Ryoko didn’t get the justice she deserved. It’s a shame. I was really looking forward to this. EDIT: To lay out what was missing: - A little more lore. I get that, from our conversation about this, you didn’t watch this before, and that’s fine. I still think a little bit of research would’ve given you some really good material. The power orbs on Tenchi-ken (the sword), for example, could’ve been a bargaining chip of sorts. Or maybe she’d get royally insulted, call on her ship Ryo-Ohki and have the place glassed or something. - A little more interaction would’ve been nice. - Getting to see one of the other sides of Ryoko. Sometimes she’d be innocent and lovable. Sometimes she’d be a borderline catgirl and lazy as hell. Sometimes she’d be straight-up horny and want to skip “playing with her food.” Sometimes… she’d get murderous… actually, you covered that last one fairly well. My bad.
