What Is Dragonball Gohanverse PE And How It'll Shape The Future For My Content

About a month ago, I announced that there was going to be one more project added to the GCU called Dragonball Gohanverse PE. However, I did not reveal anything more than that. I did not talk about what was the story about. I did not discuss how it will fit in the GCU timeline. I just showed the logo for it. Today, I am going to briefly talk about it and how this project will shape the future of this channel--- no…my content-creating career.

Dragonball Gohanverse PE, is a Naruto Ninja Storm-inspired demo that will have Gohan Black fighting against Devil Artemis’ Cell and will take place immediately after Gohanverse Season 1.

Since this is the studio’s first gaming project, I want to start off exceedingly small for this. Right now, the demo will have 3 stages fighting various bosses. I also plan on adding features that will make the game…interesting when you stream it (though there is not a 100% guarantee they will make it in the first version of the demo).

So, this begs the question: why am I working on this?

I want to expand this channel beyond just putting out YouTube content. I passionately believe that it is time to expand to tell stories and give experiences that YouTube often restricts us to do. I see this demo as the first step in getting the studio’s foot through the door in entering the indie game space.

Also, to prevent the game from experiencing DMCA issues, we had to make new models for Gohan Black, Cell, Kermit, and Absalon from scratch. I included some pictures of them down below.

I spent the past 7 months working on a Unity prototype that can be used for this project and it is finally coming together. I included a quick video showing the current progress on the prototype.

Work will begin on creating custom animations, shaders, moves, and cutscenes for this project. There are a lot of moving pieces for this project that will be added, so please be patient with us.

For the time being, progress on the project will be posted on Patreon and the membership section of the YouTube Community Tab until I make an official announcement for the project. However, builds of the demo will only be available to you guys. In fact, to make sure there are not any issues with it, I NEED your help with this. For this project, Patrons and YouTube members will have access to the following.
