Weekly Progress 68-71

 Man! It’s been a while since I done a weekly post here. However, I hope to be active here again, so let’s talk about everything I done during the YouTube's animation hiatus. 

This Week's Completed Projects

I finished the My Hero Academia parody sometime ago. Lighting the video was a lot tougher than I imagined. Not because of the map, but due to the fact the Urakara model isn’t really the best-looking model when lit. Either way, the parody is finished and I will be releasing it a week after Season 3 airs. Here are some screenshots from the video.

The next video I finished was the “It Came From Twitter” video which was based off of the Hideo Kojima "Death Stranding" tweets. I didn’t really have a lot of issues animating the video, which kind of surprised me considering I had issues with the Kojima model in the past. The only real issue I had with the animation was the ending joke. I can’t really comment on what was the issue since it’ll spoil the ending joke, but I had to ask one of my friends for help with editing the joke. Either way, expect the video to drop in May. Here are a few screenshots from the video.

The final video I finished was the Kale and Caulifla video. This one…had a lot of problems with it. The first problem was the lighting in the map. There’s this weird glitch on the map in which a black spot appears on the map, which I was able to mitigate by lighting the spot. The other problem I had was Goku and Hit’s eyes. Their eyes had the same flickering issue as the eyes for the Cell model in the Goku’s Perfect Date video. Finally, Caulifla and Kale’s models are very finicky as certain bones would look really deformed at times. Either way, I’m glad I’m done with the video and will be releasing it this week. $5+ Patrons should be able to see the video now.

This Week's Ongoing Projects
I’m VERY close to finishing the Witch 3 review. I only have one skit left to animate, which is also the longest skit in the whole video. I can say that I expect to finish animating the last segment this week and will release the review next March. Here are some screenshots from the video.

The other project I’m working on is the Splatoon 2 video that has Mario having a...talk with Marina and Peal. I wrote the script for this last year and I'm glad that I finally found the time to work on it. I’m not really happy with the lip posing for Marina and Pearl, but I gotta do what I gotta do. Even though Mario has the same issue, he has a couple of flexes that will allow me to make more lip poses than Marina and Pearl. I anticipate I’ll finish the animation next week if not the week afterwards. Here are some screenshots from the video.

I also wrote several scripts for a few projects during the hiatus. I wrote a script for a Fist of the North Star, a Fate/Stay, a Knuckles, and a Devilman Crybaby parody. I cannot work on the Fist of the North Star and the Fate/Stay parody until most of the models I need get ported, but the delay is only a few weeks. The Devilman Crybaby parody I should be able to work on once Peixmoto creates the model for it this week. Finally, I should get all of the lines for the Knuckles parody since Prince Vegeta can do a good Knuckles impress.

This Week's New Ideas
Though I’m still brainstorming them, I thought I should look into a One Piece, a Boruto, and a Symphogear parody sometime in the future.  Still thinking of possible parody ideas for them, but I’ll probably come up with something soon.
