Weekly Progress #13
Added 2016-11-04 11:59:36 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, I couldn't get any projects done this week. But I believe at least 2 animation projects and my Bad Rats: The Show review will be done by next week.
This Week's Ongoing Projects
First off: I FINALLY FINISHED ANIMATING ALL THE ROASTS! Sorry for the delay, but I had to animate this and other animations at the same time. I just want to say thank you guys for your patience, waiting for me to finish this project. With that said, I just need to light all the scenes and render them, and find a fitting song to match the tone of the video. Here are a couple screenshots from the scenes I animated.

I finally got all the lines for the Bad Rats: The Show review and have started animating the scenes. From looking at the script, it seems like there will be less animated scenes for this review and it might be a little shorter than the previous review. But this is pure speculation. Anyway, here are couple screenshots for the video.

Next up is the Hatsune Miku VR parody I'm currently working on. I have to say that I only have one dialog-heavy scene to animate and a short one, and the video is done. The long scene is just Miku and Mike (the poor sucker in the video) talking about their relationship. Also, originally, I wanted to release the video as soon as I was done with it, but I decided that the Hatsune Miku VR parody is going to be scheduled for Valentine's Day and will be titled A Weeaboo Valentine's Day 2017 video. From looking at the script, a lot of the core focus in the video can be put into a Valentine's Day special. I will have to contact the voice actors, and let them know about the change so they won't feel ripped off. Here are a couple screenshots from the scenes I worked on in the video.

The other project I worked on was the Channel Trailer #3. I'm happy to say that all of Prozd's, GaoGaiKingVA, and Box's scenes for the video are done. The thing is that I had to edit of couple of scenes because I don't want the channel trailer to be too long. Ideally, I want it to be a minute and a half long, but it might go a little above that limit. But, I doubt it'll be too much a problem since some creators have really long trailers for their channel. Not to mention, I believe the writing and the VO will work to keep new visitors' attention. The only scenes I need to animate are Nowacking's scenes. Hopefully, I will have the channel trailer out by the third week of November, if not a little earlier. Also, I will be changing the channel's banner, channel intro (but will still keeping the badass music) and my profile pics to go alongside the new trailer. I was thinking about commissioning Davorko to work on the new channel art, but I'm afraid that using 2D artwork might cause people to think that the YouTube channel does 2D animation instead of 3D. I might be overreacting to this, but I have to think about how the YouTube channel as well as the other social media profiles are perceived by new visitors. For now, here are a couple screenshots from the channel trailer 3.

In other BIG NEWS, I managed to commission MasokoX to voice Kira in the next Jojo animation. Hopefully, I should receive his lines next week and I'm really hyped to have one of the members of Team Four Star to voice one of my projects. Not going to lie, getting this guy was tough. I contacted him three times before he finally responded back to me. Instead of me scheduling the animation far in the future, I decided that I will be releasing the video ASAP. Apparently, the Jojo community is growing right now, and I think this video will not only attract them, but more anime viewers to the channel.
Also, I had to, once again, revise my Patreon commission. The scene is really simple to animate, but getting the pieces for the video HAS been a struggle. One of the people who said he could fix the Yuno model has yet again, blown me off and said “he's working on his own commissions.” Although I asked another friend to see if he could fix the model, I decided I will have to use Yang since there's no guarantee that he'll fix it before the end of the month. For the video, Box and I will be voicing the characters instead of using the game's audio. It has nothing to do with copyright; just that I thought it could be funny. If, for some reason, the' wait is too long, then I will use the game's audio. Anyway, I want to apologize to the Patron who's been waiting so long for this commission. I promise I will get it done this month.
The final thing I did was gather more voice actors for the next Overwatch animation. I only need one more voice for the video, and was looking into commissioning someone for the role. Either way, I believe I will start working on the animation soon.
This Week's New Ideas
I only had one new idea this week. I thought of a new Mario SFM idea in which Peach reveals to Bowser that he knocked her up which causes her to give birth to the Koopa Kids. Though I'm still brainstorming more ideas for the video, I want its central focus to have them freaking out because they're afraid that Mario will kill them.
Anyway, that's all I got this week! Thank you guys for reading! And I hope you have a wonderful day or night!
