Weekly Progress #4

So I didn't schedule any new content this week. I just finished three projects that will come out either this week, if not before.
So after weeks of work, I finally finished my Senran Kagura review. $5+ Patrons already saw the review, but everyone will get to see the video tomorrow. This is one of the longest reviews I've ever published since there's about four minutes worth of animations inside the review. I dunno if I'll make ten-minute reviews long for now, but at least such a time span will allow me to talk more in depth about the game. We'll just have to wait and see. For now, here are a couple screen shots from the review, which will be posted tomorrow at 1PM EST.

The next thing I worked on was the opening to the Bad Jojokes 3 collab. I wanted this collab's opening to have a little bit more production value than the previous ones. For the collab's opening, I wanted to start off with an opening shot of everyone's stands, followed by me opening the collab. At first, I thought this would be a complicated thing to do, but the After Effect 3D camera tool made it quite easy for me. After showing off everyone's stands, I then created the animated sequence for the collab. Hopefully, future collab openings will have much higher production value. Here are a couple screen shots from the animated part of the Jojokes' opening.

The final thing I worked on this week was my entry for the Bad Jojokes Collab. For my entry, I wanted to poke fun at the Part 4 anime's tendency to change the names of various stands to avoid copyright issue. So to make fun of that scene...a satirized a famous scene from Roots by having Crunchyroll whipping Crazy Diamond 'til he finally changed his name. Not gonna lie, it's probably the most controversial entry I ever made, but damn, is it funny! Here are a couple screenshots from the video:

This Week's Ongoing Projects
Oh, boy. This is going to be a long one. I didn't really work on any new animations this week since I was so busy trying to finish my Senran Kagura review and my Bad Jojokes Collab stuff. However, I've been talking to several voice actors for my projects since we hit the $125 milestone. Thus far, I've talked to Prozd, Yourtextspoken, Rinachan, MasakoX, Brent Pendergrass and Kyle Hurbert. Prozd, Kyle Hurbert, and Yourtextspoken responded to me while I'm still waiting for a response from the other three. So...Kyle Hebert...is out. I need to give him $600 bucks just to voice a 100-300 word script. To be honest, I was expecting him to be a bit more expensive and was fairly surprised that it'll only cost that much to get him to voice my stuff. I'll probably commission him in the future when I can afford him without cutting off an arm or leg.
Moving on to Prozd and Yourtextspoken...these guys are reasonable, but I currently can only commission one or the other since the cost for commissioning both of them at the same time exceeds the allocated amount I set up for this Patreon campaign. I'm still waiting for a response MasakoX and Rinachan, but since they're big time abridgers, they're probably busy. I'm still waiting to hear back from Brent, but I'll have an answer by next week's post.
However, I like to say that hopefully starting next week, I will start commissioning Nowacking for a few of my stuff. For those who don't know, she plays Misty in Elite3's Pokemon Abridged series and Seras in TFS Hellsing Ultimate Abridged. I've talked to her a few weeks ago and her rates are fairly reasonable. She's a great voice actress and I'm happy to get her to voice some of my stuff.
I'm also supporting a couple of my voice actor friends on Patreon as well. Pat Seymour and Seigi VA all lend their voices for a few of my upcoming animations and I wanted to support them on Patreon.
Okay, that's enough VO stuff. Let's talk about actual projects I'm working on. I talked about it last week, but I manged to finish the script for my video involving Amy x Sonic, which will involve Sonic confronting Amy about her stalker-ish behavior. Not only that, but I found voice actors for the video a day after I finished the script. Next up, I got 6 of the 15 roasts voiced and just need to find voice actors for the final 9. In the meantime, I'll start animating the roasts I currently have some time next week. Also, one of my voice actors finally got back to me involving the Toyko Ghoul parody I'm working on! In fact, the last role I needed to be filled is a female voice. I'm thinking to have Nowacking fill this role, but we'll wait and see.
With that said, my goal for next week is to finish at least two animations since I lost one week of animations because of my schedule. Another goal of mine is to start working on the script for my next review.
Finally, I finished the script for my new channel trailer. This channel trailer will be a film noir parody in which a corrupt detective is trying to hunt me down. What's cool is that I hopefully will have ChaseFace to voice the detective in this video. Like the previous channel trailer, I plan to have a couple of my fans lend their voices for the video. If you're interested, just message me or leave a comment down below and I'll give you your lines. Just keep in mind that some people might get context sensitive lines in which you're responding to the detective's question. So, as long as you respond to the detective's question within 5-7 seconds, you can say whatever you want XD.
Also, I got my first animation commission from one of you guys! Someone requested that I animate a video using audio from the Misadventures of Flapjack intro. I believe I can do it; it's just that some parts of it might be tricky (e.g. showing “Candy Island”, docks, etc.). For the intro, I thought it'll be funny having Toon Link and Ganondorf sing it. I have no idea why, I just think it'll be funny. I'm going to rewatch the Flapjack intro several times 'til I get an idea of how I can mimic this in SFM.
No new ideas this week since I've been so busy. Anyway, thank you guys for reading and your continued support! With that said, I hope you have a wonderful day or night!

Also crap. I realized your talking about the trailer thing. Sorry dude. Kinda stressed out from not having Internet for two days.
