Mandatory Grateful Post About Youtube TOS Changes

I really didn't expect to make this post, but after seeing several news outlets talk about this, I think this is necessary. So YouTube changed their Terms of Service (TOS) to make Youtube Channels more "family friendly." I'm going to be brutally honest...THIS IS HORSESHIT. Several big name channels Pewdiepie, H3H3 Productions, Filthy Frank, etc. curse like sailors or have sexually related jokes in their videos. This policy is so...flimsy that it might break the site. Yes, it's their platform and they can do whatever they damn well please, but considering the platform being a symbol of free speech or unleashing your creativity for ten years now, this is one of the most idiotic things they have ever done.

But enough about that. How does this affect the channel? Honestly, I don't know. I don't really curse a lot in my videos, but some of my videos do have sexual humor. I might be overreacting. This could be a fart in the wind, or it could really affect the website. Just gotta wait and see.

Enough getting sidetracked. Let's talk about the good. Even though I do earn money from my AdSense, it's honestly a small amount. It goes back to the point I made in my Patreon video. YouTube doesn't really offer a lot of money for animators using the platform since they prefer longer videos. All I gotta say is that I'm incredibly happy that I started using Patreon. I honestly love the community here. Not only do I love interacting with you guys on a more personal level, but the main thing people at Patreon want to do is support artists. Hell, when I took a look at their monthly livestreaming service, I was amazed by how enthusiastic the CEO was about the content creators on the platform and how they're planning on implementing changes to make Patreon much easier for content creators.

I probably say this alot, but I just want to thank you guys again for the support. I promise I'll continue doing my best. With that said, thank you guys for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day or night! See ya!

Ah yes, a new policy, a new storm for YTers to weather. Hopefully this won't be too much of a kick in the ass for everyone but knowing YT ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Some people's videos have already been affected by the new policy.
