This might be a little esoteric, but Rocky Balboa and the first 2 Creed movies were financial and critical successes, but in the time before they came out: critics and consumers basically wrote them off entirely as lazy cash-grabs. All 3 are excellent, and I think Creed 2 actually makes Rocky IV better in retrospect.

2023-06-07 21:27:55 +0000 UTCMy suggestions for post Hobbit trilogy on Swill: The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films. They hit that nostalgia bone, especially the first one, but they’re all critically panned and each one gets worse. The Matrix quadrilogy. I’m sure Sam has seen The Matrix, but if not then that could be on Swirl and the next 3 can be on Swill. A lot of people love Reloaded, but 3 and 4 are so bad. Twilight or 50 Shades. They would be something different and would give us a great look back at the late 2000s YA film genre craze.
