Episodes 31, 32 and 33 for Rance IX are up!
Added 2023-03-09 16:02:42 +0000 UTCThis whole thing was actually done in one single recording so technically its one whole video split into parts lol decided to do that since I thought after starting the route selection it would be only 40 ish minutes till the ending but it was an extra 2 and a half hours! Can safely say that I finished the first play of Rance IX and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be starting NG+ most likely before doing the other heroines routes and will be using the wiki as a guide to get the endings that I missed which is probably just max hearts for the girls, so the next episode might be heavily edited while I just try to get the new scenes. Each heroine ending will probably be its own episode so another 7 episodes will be made at least. Btw this is the only time there's no H scene in the recording other than the very first episode lol. I did google what that thing Lia was using! It's a megaphone but yeah it looks like a speaker phone is the same item name lol. And as for what to do after finishing up Rance IX, I'm going to do the games in order so next on the list is going to be 4.1 and 4.2, but those are quite short games I'd say not even 5 episodes each so fairly quick to finish. Next would be kichikuou but for sure that one is gonna be a commitment, it's pretty difficult, long and old but it is the reference to the whole rance series so it'd be such a shame to not play it. There's also not a lot of people who LP it I assume since it's an old game so only die hards play it which is going to be nice for the channel traction. After that is when I'll tackle the more modern games like 5D, VI and Sengoku. I'll do all the games with a clean slate so no worries I want people to experience a first play as much as possible when I do these playthroughs! Also idk what you think about other non gameplay VNs in general but story focused VNs are my favorites if you don't mind that I don't even mind making videos on Japanese only titles, this is mostly going to be a side project though so don't expect fast uploads. I play with machine translation since I'm a non native speaker I can internally edit and filter out what they're saying and translate it so its at least understandable for people. I've played a few titles like this and I gotta say it's a gamechanger especially since there's so many VNs that don't have english releases. I'll probably make a separate post or video on channel update on youtube too but I definitely want to LP the whole Rance Series that's been my driving force for videos lol Edit: Added some spacing since I didn't realize I was typing quite a bit!

A bit of clarification: you don't need Tilde's bad end to unlock her special battle for her powerup. Just be level 4 affection with her by the end of Chapter 13. I believe the word you're looking for in regards to the item in Lia's hand is a speakerphone. So, after you beat all the heroine endings and possibly do a NG+ run to beat Gunagan, what title are you moving onto? Rance VI? Very grindy. People often claim this is a very long game, but honestly, most of the length is the grind for orbs and XP. Sengoku Rance? In the case of the latter, are you going to go in with a clean slate or with your unlocked items?
