2024-08-03 21:06:24 +0000 UTCSo funny. I can 100% imagine myself in Jeremy's corner... trying to get work done, but having to take time to shoot some BTS, and not knowing what to shoot. (We all have our work hurdles. lol.) Luv the bee diversion tho! He came thru with something entertaining! But yes, I suspect most the BTS followers would always watch timeline walk-thrus. I know I personally freeze-frame all the time to check-in and see if our construction methodologies are similar. 😉 And I'm repeatedly intrigued by how deep the sound design goes. None of my clients seem to need or appreciate extensive sound design enough to get that deep... but it's inspiring for personal projects tho. Also, this may be an entirely inappropriate question for an outsider to ask on a semi-public forum... but I was recently on a Rough Cuts slack, and we were discussing hourly v. project based pricing models, and the ethical quandaries that can arise with rounds of revision in a project-priced video; and your part around 9:23 where you talk about the many rounds of revision for the map styling, I was wondering if all your global editors and animators are project based? or hourly? or I guess full-timers? How do you all navigate that stuff? (again, not entirely expecting an answer, but figured this might be one of the safer places to ask something like that 🤷♂️)
