Im more concerned about something like the carrington event of 1859, that would shut everything down for everyone. A force of magnetism that big, would generate too much current through every coil that exists. That means our phones, cars, computers, etc would ignite. And people wouldn't know what was going on, or access the info on what to do about it. And we'd be set back 150 years with nothing but our mechanical tools, and communication by horse and pigeon.
