I’ve often felt that if people could see the words their politicians write behind closed doors, they would be shocked, and probably learn a lot. That was the initial goal for this series, to deep dive these types of declassified documents in order to give people an inside look at the political process, how the government works, and how politicians use their power in covert ways.
This episode explores US covert operations taken against Cuba during the JFK administration, and just how insane things got during that time period. From exile invasions, to poison pills, to the mafia, to false flags, the American government was off the rails.
